Personal information:
Jonathan Brenton was born in Uganda in 1965. He studied English literature at Bristol, Boston and Cambridge Universities, where he completed a PhD. Jonathan is married, his wife Sayana was born in Tuva in Siberia. They met and married in Moscow and have three children. The family speak Russian as well as English at home.
