Jonathan Flory
Biography
Jonathan Flory is a Senior Adviser at Social Finance Limited and formerly head of its UK advisory practice. Social Finance is a non-profit enterprise seeking to design, fund and scale better solutions to challenging social problems in the UK and globally.
Jonathan’s work across a number of social impact areas includes outcomes partnerships to reduce homelessness and reoffending and innovation finance to increase access to affordable housing. Jonathan acted as adviser to Big Society Capital on its establishment and during a decade at Social Finance has helped to design and develop a range of social investment funds and contracts at the intersection of the public and private sectors blending grant and investment finance.
Prior to joining Social Finance in 2011, Jonathan served as Acting Director of Pro Bono Economics. Previously he spent over 25 years as a Corporate Finance adviser within the investment banking sector, principally at Dresdner Kleinwort in London, New York and Paris.
Jonathan holds a MA from Pembroke College, Cambridge. He is Vice Chair of The Perins Multi Academy Trust and Chair of its Audit and Risk Committee.

- give guidance and advice to HMPPS leaders
- support and challenge management on the Agency’s strategic direction
- provide support in monitoring and reviewing progress
