Kate Davies
Biography
Kate Davies was appointed Interim Director General, Labour Market Policy and Implementation at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in June 2022.
Before this, Kate was Strategy and Governance Director in DWP bringing together cross-cutting policy-making, supporting ministers and the Permanent Secretary, and leading all the departmental governance.
Previous roles in the Civil Service include:
- Deputy Director, Economic and Domestic Affairs Secretariat, Cabinet Office
- Principal Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Wales
- Deputy Principal Private Secretary, DWP
