Lisa Barrett

Biography

Lisa Barrett was the Deputy Head of Mission for the British Embassy Pyongyang in December 2023, having previously served in this role from 2017 to 2020. From 2020 to 2023 she served as Deputy Head of Mission in Antananarivo, Madagascar, and has also done postings overseas in Guatemala City, and in Consular and Climate Diplomacy teams in the UK. She holds a degree in Japanese and Spanish from Durham University.
