Lucy Jones
Biography
Lucy Jones was appointed Head of Corporate Services at the Legal Aid Agency in June 2019. Lucy began her civil service career in prisons and over the last two decades has worked in a range of roles across the justice sector. These include victims and prisoner policy, ministerial strategy, operational delivery and transformational change.
Head of Corporate Services
The Deputy Director, Corporate Services is responsible for all corporate functions to ensure the safe and effective running of the agency. The Head of Corporate Services is responsible for:
- Strategic planning including the LAA Strategy and Business Plan
- The LAA Strategic Workforce Plan and People Strategy
- Performance reporting and analysis
- Internal and external communications and strategic stakeholder engagement
- Risk management and Assurance
- Corporate Governance
- Information security, Health & Safety and business continuity
