Megan Lee Devlin
Biography
Megan Lee Devlin was appointed as Director General in the Ministry of Justice in March 2024. Megan is responsible for leading on service transformation across the Ministry of Justice and its agencies. This includes oversight of the Legal Aid Agency, Office of the Public Guardian and the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority, and responsibility for the digital services and technology underpinning prisons, probation and other critical services across the justice system.
Prior to joining the Ministry of Justice, Megan was Director General and Chief Executive of the Central Digital & Data Office in the Cabinet Office, where she was Head of the Digital, Data and Technology function and responsible for ensuring government was fully harnessing the benefits of technology.
Megan joined the Civil Service from the private sector. She worked at IBM, PwC and at McKinsey & Company, where she consulted to private sector organisations on technology, analytics and organisational transformation topics.
