Biography
Naomi Eisenstadt was appointed a non-executive director at the Department of Health and Social Care on 13 January 2025.
Naomi is the chair of the NHS Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board. Beginning her career in the voluntary sector, she was chief executive of a child poverty charity before joining the Civil Service. She became the first director of Sure Start in 1999. After 7 years in that post, she served for 3 years as director of the Social Exclusion Task Force. She has served as an adviser on poverty and inequality to the First Minister of Scotland, has been a trustee on several charity boards, and served as a non-executive director of an NHS primary care trust.
