Neil Wolstenholme OBE
Biography
Neil Wolstenholme joined the Coal Authority in September 2024 as an interim programme director.
Neil is a Chartered Project Professional with over 30 years’ experience working in and leading, major government projects, programmes and portfolios, covering departments including Department for Work and Pensions, HM Revenue & Customs, Valuation Office Agency and the Infrastructure and Projects Authority in the Cabinet Office.
A graduate of the government’s flagship Major Projects Leadership Academy, he was awarded an OBE for services to government in project delivery in 2013.
Interim Programme Director
This role is responsible for:
- leadership of the inland salinity programme
- providing strategic input in to the Coal Authority’s executive leadership team, supporting the organisation’s delivery in line with its values
