Nicola O'Keeffe
Biography
Nicola is a commercially focused financial director and a chartered accountant with extensive knowledge and experience of leading and transforming finance teams.
She has experience in transformational change, system implementations, business improvement and mergers and acquisitions.
Nicola began her career with Ernst & Young in Manchester after securing a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Modern Languages and Accounting.
She then spent 20 years working in a variety of financial roles at Amec Foster Wheeler/Wood, including internal audit, group consolidation and managing the UK Shared Service team as well as spending her last 5 years there as the Finance Director of their nuclear business.
She led the financial work on the sale of this business to Jacobs in 2020 before then moving to Bilfinger UK and VolkerStevin, where she has been driving transformation change with the implementation of a new ERP system and the return to profitability for the civil engineering contractor.
Nicola is also the honorary treasurer for the Nuclear Institute and has been on the Board of Trustees for the last 6 years.
Nicola was appointed Chief Financial Officer in November 2024.

Nicola is responsible for the Independent Performance Assurance Group, finance, business planning, Group Business Services and the Information Services Organisation.
