Parul Kumar
Biography
Parul Kumar is Change and Transformation Leader. She has held senior management roles across multiple industries such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical and e-Commerce. Her professional background has centered around driving customer experience, digital transformation including automation and AI, process improvement, operational excellence and organisational effectiveness creating strong and long-lasting foundations across large scale, complex and matrixed organisations.
Throughout her career, Parul has been passionate about investing in and developing people, mentoring and coaching, building a high performance and collaborative team culture and championing innovation and adoption of new technologies and tools.
She currently serves as COO of Frontiers Media, a scientific research publishing organisation and in her spare time works with charities in India to promote literacy in rural areas.
DBS Associate Board Member
Board members are senior figures from outside DBS who bring a mix of expertise and skills from across the public and private sector. They all:
- oversee performance
- set the strategic direction for the DBS
- support and challenge management on implementing the DBS strategic direction
- make sure that statutory duties are carried out
DBS board members are appointed following open and fair competition and in line with the Governance Code on Public Appointments. The appointments are for an initial period of 3 years, with the possibility of re-appointment.
