Paul Boyle
Biography
Paul Boyle OBE is Chairman of the whistleblowing charity, Protect, and a Non-Executive Director of Mogo Holdings Ltd, Golden Charter Ltd and of the Government Internal Audit Agency.
Paul qualified as a chartered accountant in 1983, and was employed in senior finance roles at WH Smith plc and Cadbury Schweppes plc. Following his tenure as Chief Operating Officer of the Financial Services Authority, Paul was Chief Executive of the Financial Reporting Council from 2004 – 2009.
Paul retired from Aviva plc in 2017, having been Chief Internal Auditor since 2010 and a member of the Group Executive Committee. He was President of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (UK & Ireland) for twelve months from 2016.
