Paul Caldwell
Biography
Paul Caldwell has been with the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) since 2001. Paul has worked in operations, communications and strategy, and was made Operations Director in 2010. Before this, Paul was Manager at the British Cattle Movement Service (BCMS) and occupied various roles within the former Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (now the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra)).

The RPA’s Chief Executive is appointed by Defra as the Agency’s Accounting Officer and is responsible for overall leadership of the RPA.
