Mr Rob Kelly

Biography

In 2001, Rob joined British Trade International, now UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) as a Resource Manager for the Americas and Europe. In 2005, Rob joined the South Asia Unit of UKTI, helping to promote greater trade with Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and India. In January 2008 Rob was appointed Deputy Head of Mission and Head of Commercial Section at the British Deputy High Commission in Chennai, India, with responsibility for developing bilateral trade and investment in the southern States of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Rob joined the Commercial Section in Abu Dhabi in October 2010 as Deputy Director, UKTI.

Prior to his career in the Civil Service, Rob worked for a number of private sector companies, including King Sturge & Co (Chartered Surveyors) and Diageo.
