Robin Aaronson
Biography
Robin Aaronson (appointed in 2009) is an economist specialising in competition policy. In the 1980s he was senior economic adviser to the Monopolies and Mergers Commission (MMC). Subsequently, he worked as a consultant in the field, as a partner at Coopers and Lybrand and later at LECG. From 2000 to 2006 he was a member of the Postal Services Commission and he has previously worked at HM Treasury and in the Ministry of Defence. Robin is also a specialist utility panel member.
