Rory O’Donnell

Biography

Rory O’Donnell was most recently the Director, EU Trade Policy and Northern Ireland at the UK Mission to the European Union between.

Previously Rory worked at the UK Representation to the EU as the Counsellor for Regions, Agriculture and Fisheries and UK Spokesperson on the Special Committee for Agriculture.

Before his posting to Brussels, Rory worked in a number of government departments on a range of issues including social security, local government service delivery and animal health policy. He was also Principal Private Secretary to a number of Cabinet Ministers and Director of Communications at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. He joined the civil service in 1990.
