Biography
Satjit is Interim Chief Executive of the Shadow Trade Remedies Authority, the body which will be a key part of safeguarding British Industry, post-Brexit.
He has previously been CEO of two healthcare professionals’ regulatory bodies and a Director at the Council for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence (now the Professional Standards Authority), an Arms-Length Body.
Prior to that, he was Finance Director of NHS various organisations; he was also Lead Commissioner for Health during the 2012 Olympics. Satjit has been a management consultant with PwC and, has lived and worked in several countries, notably, India in China; in the latter he set up and ran DFID’s biggest China Programme. He is also a Visiting Lecturer at Cass Business School, London.
Satjit is a Freeman of the City of London and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
