Seb Fouquet
Biography
Seb is the Humanitarian and Development Director for the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) leading UK’s international development engagement in South Sudan.
Prior to South Sudan, Seb was Humanitarian Team Leader and Deputy Development Director to Yemen between 2021 and 2023. Previously he was Humanitarian Team Leader, DFID Somalia (2011 to 2021), Humanitarian Advisor DFID DRC (2007 to 2011), and the UK Humanitarian Operations Team from 2005 to 2007. Prior to joining DFID, Seb has worked for non-governmental organisations in the Balkans, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka.
Seb holds an MSc (2001) in Emergency and Development Practice from Oxford Brookes University. He speaks French.
