Biography
Stephen Brice is the Deputy Governor of the Falkland Islands. He arrived in the Falklands in April 2025, having previously completed postings in Afghanistan, India and Tanzania.
Stephen has been a member of the Diplomatic Service for nearly 20 years, covering, political, economic, security and programme management work.
Deputy Governor of the Falkland Islands
The Deputy Governor is a senior diplomat and a key advisor to the Governor. The Deputy is responsible for the daily management of the Governor’s Office. In the absence of the Governor, they represent the UK’s interests as Acting Governor.
