Stephen Meek

Biography

Stephen took up the role of Director of Strategy, Communications and Private Office on 9 November 2015.

Stephen joined the civil service in 1992, working in HM Treasury in a range of posts, including welfare reform, education, financial services, transport and EU issues. He has also been Director for Qualifications and Participation and Director of Strategy at the Department for Education.

He was also Programme Director for Children and Young People at the Local Government Association.
