Tim Flesher CB
Biography
Tim was appointed as Chair to the PSPRB on 1 August 2019 for a tenure of three years. Prior to this, Tim was a civil servant for 36 years, holding several roles including Private Secretary for Parliamentary Affairs to the Prime Minister and was responsible for the establishment of OFSTED. From 1994 to 1998, he was head of the Immigration Service, and went on to become the Deputy Chairman of the Inland Revenue. In 2003, Tim was the Deputy Chief of Defence Logistics, and from 2007 to 2010, Chief of Corporate Services for Defence Equipment and Support. Since 2010, he has been working as a consultant and a coach. Tim was a member of the Armed Forces Pay Review Body from 2014 to 2019 and is a Trustee of the Armed Forces Education Trust.

The role of a Chair of the Prison Service Pay Review Body is to provide independent advice on the remuneration of governing governors and operational managers, prison officers and support grades in the England and Wales Prison Service and Northern Ireland Prison Service.
