Professor Tracy Myhill OBE
Biography
Tracy has experience in Chair, Independent Member and Non-Executive Director roles following a successful executive career in Chief Executive and Human Resources Director roles, and many years prior to that as a Human Resources Professional.
She has 37 years’ experience within the NHS, working as Chief Executive within the ambulance sector and Chief Executive of an integrated health board
Tracy led the Welsh Ambulance Service through a period of significant transformation leading a programme of cultural and behaviour change and delivering a turnaround in relationships with staff and trade unions from one of hostility to one of trust and partnership, delivering tangible improvements for patients and staff.
In addition to her leadership of the transformation of the Welsh Ambulance Service, Tracy led a recovery and support programme to change the culture and stabilise and improve performance in one of the largest integrated Health Boards in the UK.
She is a strong advocate for equality, diversity and inclusion.
Retiring from the NHS in December 2020 has enabled Tracy to use her extensive experience in a more diverse capacity and to continue to contribute to the NHS, Third Sector and Public Sector.
Through her limited company, Tracy Myhill Associates Ltd, Tracy supports the development of individuals and organisations including a strong and active commitment to mentoring individuals across the public sector.
Tracy is Honorary Colonel of the 203 (Welsh) Field Hospital.
Tracy lives with her wife in Penarth, South Wales, their four grown-up children having now left the family home.
