Vanessa Birchall-Scott

Biography

Vanessa joined the MHRA as Director of Human Resources in January 2015.

Immediately prior to her appointment she was the Strategic Head of Human Resources for Virgin Care; a private provider of NHS community services across England. Vanessa joined Virgin Care three years previously, following several years in Human Resources Director roles in a variety of NHS organisations and a career in Human Resources within the NHS which spans a total of over 20 years. Her Director portfolios included a range of other corporate responsibilities, such as communications, health & safety and business planning.

Vanessa is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and has a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management.
