Terms of reference

Purpose

• To support the implementation of the Community Energy Strategy, through providing expert advice and informed challenge on detailed policy design and implementation.
• To offer community perspectives on wider policy development in DECC where appropriate, including supporting policy implementation and advising on how new policies might impact communities.
