Details

The Secretary of State for Business, along with Ministers from 12 other Member States, jointly signed a ‘10 point plan for EU smart regulation’. Sent to Commission President Barroso on 19 November 2012, in advance of the Commission’s forthcoming Smart Regulation Communication in December 2012. It calls on the Commission to advance the agenda on smart regulation, and to cut red tape at the EU level by reducing the overall EU regulatory burden.
