16 to 19 bursary fund: examples of good practice

Details

This document provides practical examples of institutions using the 16 to 19 Bursary Fund guide. It will help institutions create their own innovative schemes to help students who most need financial support to participate in further education or training.

This good practice guide is aimed at schools, colleges, academies, training institutions, independent institutions and local authorities (collectively referred to as institutions in this guide) to help them to administer the fund in the 2013 to 2014 academic year.

The 2 appendixes, also available from this page, are examples of good practice in place at institutions, which were judged by auditors to be successfully administering the Bursary Fund.
