Details

The 19+ allocations technical guidance sets out how we have calculated funding allocations for the 2021 to 2022 funding year for:

• ESFA funded adult education budget (AEB) including 19 to 24 traineeships
• Advanced learner loans facilities and bursaries
• 16 to 18 traineeships and bursaries (for providers without 16 to 19 funding)

The apprenticeship non-levy technical guidance sets out how we calculated apprenticeship non-levy procured allocations for the 2021 to 2022 financial year.

1. 7 September 2021

   We have updated the business case template, this includes two new funding lines: - Apprenticeship carry-in funding (non-procured) - Non-levy apprenticeship carry-in funding (procured)

2. 23 July 2021

   We have updated the 19+ allocations technical guidance for 2021 to 2022. We have now updated details on the new allocation method added for 19 to 24 traineeships contract for services (2020 procurement).

3. 20 April 2021

   We have now added the allocation calculators to the 19+ allocations guidance page.

4. 7 April 2021

   We have added the 19+ allocations technical guidance to support you to understand your allocations. We have also added the business case template.
