We have a received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following: 

All correspondence (letters or emails sent, received and carbon copies) relating to the England riots last summer - that is, the violence and disorder that took place in English towns and cities including London, Manchester, Salford, Birmingham, Liverpool and Bristol between August 6, 2011 and August 10, 2011 - between Home Office ministers (home secretary, ministers of state or parliamentary under secretaries of state) and the chief constable of Greater Manchester Police, Peter Fahy.
