30 hours free childcare: evidence from the survey of childcare and early years providers 2018

Details

Analysis of data from the Childcare and early years providers survey 2018, the first national survey with early years and childcare providers after the national rollout of the 30 hours offer. It aims to:

  • provide national estimates of providers’ engagement with the 30 hours entitlement
  • examine setting and local area characteristics associated with offering the 30 hours entitlement
  • consider the flexibility of the offer for parents

This report builds on the evidence from the earlier evaluations of 30 hours.
