This report contains the findings from an independent review on the government’s actions after the electoral registration website went offline.

The government took swift action to fix the website and, with support across Parliament and from the Electoral Commission, extended the deadline for applying to register to vote to 9 June. This meant that no-one was prevented from registering to vote and taking part in the EU Referendum. This review provides the lessons learned.
