A.C. Goatham and Son Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for three licences.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of these applications in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The applications are to vary licences serial numbers SO/040/0001/041; SO/040/0007/004 and SO/040/0001/037 which authorise the abstraction of water from underground chalk at Bloors Farm (National Grid Reference (NGR) TQ 81396 67216) near Gillingham and Ufton Court Farm (NGR TQ 89236 62619) and Milstead Farm (NGR TQ 90570 58629) near Rochester.
The variations applied for is: to move the abstraction period back by one month and increase the annual volumes to 18,775 cubic metres (m³), 21,363 m³ and 53,333 m³ respectively.
