Details

The Claimant alleged that UCATT had breached section 30 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 by failing to comply with his request for access to certain accounting records of the union within 28 days of his request. The claimant had in particular sought access to accounting records relating to the expenses paid to members of the union’s Executive Council and General Secretary. At the hearing the union and the complainant reached an agreement on providing access to the requested accounting records. The application was dismissed upon withdrawal by the Claimant.
