In May, HMRC’s Accounting Officer undertook a review of the Borders and Trade Infrastructure Programme.

This programme is working across government to deliver and operate a network of Inland Border Facilities (IBF), helping maintain the flow of goods with the EU, now the UK has left the Customs Union and Single Market.

The Accounting Officer concluded that programme is value for money and deliverable.
