Accreditation criterion

Details

This document sets out the accreditation criterion we use to take decisions on accreditation for all qualifications which are subject to an accreditation requirement, currently:

  • all GCSEs
  • all AS and A levels

Following the commencement of the Skills and Post-16 Education Act 2022, in 2023 Ofqual removed the accreditation requirement for Level 3 Technical Qualifications that form part of T Levels.
