The Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs (ACMD) has undertaken a review of research evidence relating to the prevalence of drug use and commissioning of treatment services for young people.

This letter outlines ACMD findings to date, notes important developments in the field of young people’s drug use and recommends areas of focus for future work.
