Establishing a fee paid blog via Substack Inc

Mr Smith sought the Committee’s advice about establishing a fee paid blog via Substack Inc.  The letter containing the Committee’s consideration and the conditions imposed on the appointment was sent in October 2024.An accessible version of the letter is available here.

Mr Smith left his role as Special Adviser to the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport in April 2012, before rejoining government in October 2022. The Committee’s correspondence to Mr Smith in relation to appointments following his previous departure from government are also listed on this page.
