Sir Oliver Dowden left his role as Deputy Prime Minister and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster at the Cabinet Office in July 2024.

Strategy Adviser, Caxton Associates LP

Sir Oliver sought the Committee’s advice about taking up a role with Caxton Associates LP. The letter containing the Committee’s consideration and the conditions imposed on the appointment was sent in August 2024; and the appointment was taken up in November 2024. Sir Oliver Dowden left his role as Chairman of the Conservative Party in February 2022, before rejoining givernemnt in 2023. The Committee’s correspondence to Sir Oliver in 2022 are below.
