Details

The Johnston Press Group went into administration on Friday 16 November 2018. The Secretary of State updated Parliament on the situation on 19 November and indicated that he would consider whether the takeover came under the media merger rules as set out in the Enterprise Act 2002. This letter of 14 December confirms that the Secretary of State will not be intervening.
