Details

The Department for Transport awarded funding to local authorities to produce walking and cycling facilities via the Active Travel Fund, with tranche 1 funding allocated in 2020 and tranche 2 funding allocated in 2021.

The report describes the approach that the evaluation will take and outlines the 4 themes:

  • cycle tracks
  • low traffic neighbourhoods
  • school streets
  • process evaluation

It provides some preliminary analysis of baseline data and describes the steps to be taken between the baseline report and the final report.
