The School Admissions Code 2012 is a summary of the law and guidance relating to admission to state maintained schools in England. The armed forces covenant exists to make sure the service community is not disadvantaged when accessing public services. In the light of the armed forces covenant there are some specific references to service children in the School Admission Code which are explained in this document.
