Summary of key information:

  • the disadvantage uplift factors have changed in 2021 to 2022 compared to 2020 to 2021 as we have moved to using the Index of Multiple Deprivation 2019
  • the high value courses for school and college leavers: a one-year offer for 18 and 19-year-olds policy is now closed to new starts. Funding for these courses will continue for learning delivery that started in the 2020 to 2021 funding year
  • a new AEB procured contract takes effect from 1 August 2021, and the previous AEB procured contract ceases to be funded for new starts or continuing learners on 31 July 2021
