Version 2

We have added information on how the Earnings Boost (as announced in ESFA Update on 1 March 2023) will work for the year 2022 to 2023, including some worked examples.

Version 1

  • We have removed references to High value courses for school and college leavers: a one-year offer for 18 and 19-year-olds, as you were required to complete delivery on these courses by 31 March 2022 in the 2021 to 2022 funding year. The High value courses for school and college leavers: a one-year offer for 18 and 19-year-olds policy is now closed to new starts. Funding for these courses will continue for learning delivery that started in the 2020 to 2021 funding year.

  • If you have a specific query about a section or paragraph in the funding rates and formulas, please contact us using our online enquiry form or speak to your territorial lead contact.
