We have published an update to the ESFA adult education budget (AEB) funding rules for the 2022 to 2023 funding year (1 August 2022 to 31 July 2023).
The rules apply to all providers of education and training who receive AEB funding from the Secretary of State for Education acting through ESFA.

We have updated the AEB funding and performance management rules for 2022 to 2023. Changes include information on AEB 110% threshold (over delivery of AEB, up from 103%), earnings boost (refers providers to the funding rates and formula guidance) and AEB CfS contract extensions (extending the procured contracts to allow completion of learners)

We have also published a level 3 qualifications flow chart which sets out the options available to a learner who wishes to enrol on a level 3 qualification funded by ESFA.
