Advanced and specialist digital skills survey

Details

The Digital and Skills and Inclusion team within the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has commissioned Pye Tait Consulting to undertake a programme of research to understand the UK’s current and future advanced and specialist digital skills needs, as well as the characteristics of the advanced and specialist digital workforce.

The scope of the review covers the digital technology sector and the wider economy (such as the retail and financial sectors). A key part of this work involves collecting data from employers via an online survey. (See link to the survey above).

The findings will help DCMS as it develops policy to address the digital skills challenge and works to develop the UK’s advanced and specialist digital skills pipeline to meet industry demand. All data obtained by Pye Tait Consulting will be treated confidentially and reported to DCMS anonymously in line with the Data Protection Act 1998 and Market Research Society Code of Conduct.
