MHRA received an anonymous complaint about a promotional meeting held by Galderma in March 2014. The complainant was concerned that the hospitality and delegate bags provided were excessive.
MHRA did not uphold the complaint.
Galderma confirmed that the gifts within the delegate bags were not expensive and related to the practice of medicine. Galderma stated that a single glass of wine with fruit and canapé was offered. The ABPI Code no longer permits the offer of gifts in delegate bags.
