November 2020 Advertisment of Ventolin Evohaler and other prescription only medicines (POMs) on social media
GSK complained about advertising for Ventolin Evohaler by Daily Chemist. The complainant alleged that Daily Chemist sent targeted adverts for Ventolin Evohaler via social media platforms.
While Ventolin Evohaler and other prescription only medicines (POMs) were listed on the Facebook page of Daily Chemist, Daily Chemist clarified that the Facebook page was not affiliated with them. They explained that they had reported this page and the advertisement to Facebook. The POMs have been removed, and Daily Chemist is working with Facebook to remove this page or transfer the ownership to Daily Chemist.
