Details

Lord Sharpe of Epsom, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Home Office, wrote to the chair of the Animals in Science Committee (ASC).

He accepts the committee’s advice to:

  • further restrict the use of the forced swim test
  • apply more scrutiny to proposals for its future use

He sets out plans to ultimately ban the test.
