ASF performance management review December 2024

At the December 2024 performance management review, providers will have the opportunity to raise the following:-

Grant providers with an ASF contract can request:

  • a first-time request for ESFA funded level 3 free courses for jobs up to the value of £45,000
  • top up an existing ESFA funded level 3 free courses for jobs allocation if it is below £45,000
  • an exceptional request for growth on free courses for jobs if you do not meet the set criteria from the funding and performance management rules

Contract for services providers with an ESFA funded ASF contract (procured from August 2023) can request:

  • an exceptional request for growth on ESFA funded ASF and free courses for jobs if you do not meet the set criteria from the funding and performance management rules
  • an exceptional request for exemptions from an automatic reduction of your allocation if your delivery is below the published threshold

The deadline for submission is 5pm Wednesday 4 December 2024. Previous versions of request forms will not be accepted.

  1. We have added the adult skills funded (ASF) first-time request form for 2024 to 2025. The deadline for submission is 5pm Wednesday 4 December 2024. Previous versions of request form will not be accepted.

  2. We have updated the adult education budget performance management form for 2023 to 2024. The deadline for submission is 5pm Wednesday 6 December 2023. Previous versions of request forms will not be accepted.

  3. We have updated the adult education budget performance management form and added the traineeship opt-in form. The deadline for submission is 5pm Tuesday 6 December 2022. Previous versions of request forms will not be accepted.

  4. We have added a form for procured AEB Contract for Services providers can raise a first-time request for an ESFA Funded National Skills Fund allocation up to the value of £45,000. This form is limited to those providers whom are eligible for a first time request at this review.

  5. We will shortly be conducting an additional performance review for ESFA Funded National Skills Fund (NSF). At this review providers will have the opportunity to submit a first-time request for an ESFA Funded NSF allocation up to the value of £45,000 (grant providers only). If you have a devolved NSF contract, you can still request an ESFA Funded NSF contract for non-devolved learners.

  6. We have updated the adult education budget performance management form. The deadline for submission is 5pm Tuesday 7 December 2021. Previous versions of request forms will not be accepted.

  7. We have updated the Adult Education Budget (AEB) performance management request form. Providers should use this form for first time requests or request to top up an existing allocation below £45,000 for the 2021 to 2022 funding year.

  8. We have updated the AEB performance management request form for 2020 to 2021 claims.
