Details

Affordable Rent to Buy is a new model for providing affordable housing through recoverable government investments. It will help people who need a limited period of support through a sub-market rent before they can achieve their aspiration of home ownership.

This working paper describes the key principles of the model and ideas about more detailed aspects of its design. It will inform discussions with prospective providers and other interested parties ahead of publication of a prospectus.
