Details

This analysis applies the Airports Commission’s carbon policy sensitivity test to the ‘global growth’ demand scenario. In this scenario, passenger forecasts are higher than the forecasts in the main scenario used for assessment of the impacts of airport expansion.

This supplementary analysis informs section 9.13 of the carbon appendix of the Appraisal of sustainability for the draft Airports National Policy Statement.
