This final report concludes that no evidence was found to support the allegation that the Home Office’s Voluntary Services Unit provided direct funding to PIE.

Evidence of connections between PIE and a number of other organisations were established and 2 of these organisations, Albany Trust and Princedale Trust, received grant funding from VSU; however no evidence was found to indicate that either organisation used this funding to support PIE.
